Usage

This template always needs to be applied after an AfD discussion has been closed with consensus to merge. This template is used to add the article to the category Category:Articles with consensus to merge. This category can be suppressed by using |nocat=yes.

TemplateData for Afd-merge from

Marks an article as the TARGET of a needed merge following an Articles for Deletion debate. This template should be transcluded on the TALK PAGE of an article, not on the article itself.

Template parameters
Parameter		Description	Type	Status
Article to be merged	`1`	The article that needs to be merged into this article. Up to 20 pages may be provided as destinations, each separated by a pipe (unnamed parameters 1–20). Example Example	Page name	required
Debate name	`discussion` `talk` `discuss` `afd`	The part of the debate's page name after "Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/". Usually the same as the title of the article to be merged. However, if it was a second or third nomination, append "(second nomination)" or "(third nomination)" or so on as the case may be. Example Example	String	required
