To answer your comment about a possible bug in open mode. it credits the county to the last player to do damage to the pirate within 10 seconds, so people are probably just last hit stealing bountys from you. happens alot to me with stuff like anacondas, I'll take out the shields and almost get the power gen before some bounty hunter ninja open fires with his 4 mini-canons so he's almost guaranteed to get the bounty ¬.¬
