Elite Dangerous Wiki:Template index/Redirect language codes

A language redirect template may identify the language of an alternative title. It does not translate an article or create a language version. Follow Project:Redirect and Help:Interlanguage links.

These are common examples, not a complete list of supported local translations. Check the local redirect template's documentation for accepted parameters before using a code. A language code, an English spelling variant and a country code are different. Do not assign a language from a player's location or guess a code from a language's English name.

For an alternative-language name, confirm that it refers to the same subject. Use language-menu configuration rather than an ordinary redirect when the purpose is to open a translated article. Check the resulting destination; inherited interwiki prefixes can point off-site.
