Yeah, it's nice that there is the different docking bay model, in addition to the subtle lighting/colour differences in the 'standard' bay in different major factions.

Various rich systems have stations with that appearance. The ones around Earth, for example.

I think they should add (at least) four or five other docking bay interior model sets, with various modular elements that can vary between different stations, like paint colours, lights, lighting colours, murals, plants, industrial equipment. Would go a long way toward making what players spend a lot of time looking at much more varied.

It would be so nice for there to be some dimly-lit makeshift-feeling docking bays, like the one in the wiki's background image.

What they have now works though, and will have to be reworked/expanded on when they eventually make stations explorable on foot, so I can see why now might not be the time to spend resources on adding all that variety.
