The Type-8, known affectionately as "The Windows 9 of Trading Vessels," is a ship manufactured by Lakon Spaceways. Its nickname comes from the fact that it may only be purchased and flown in Elite Dangerous: Windows 9 Edition.
Although it has superb speed, maneuverability, jump range, and a peerless cockpit view, it has 4 fewer hardpoints than even the Type-7 Transporter, and almost no internals.
