From Elite Dangerous Wiki

I don't have any right to say factually correct information? Well it's nice to know this wiki is run on personal preference and not legitimately good experience and information. The Python can haul around 256 tons of cargo with mining equipment AND a class 4 shield installed. That is more cargo that any medium ship is capable of with every internal compartment is maxxed out cargo racks. And in the profession of mining, where volume = money, you discount the one medium ship capable of the largest volume because it not maneuverable enough? IF you cannot see how absolutely bonkers that is, then all the experience in the world at Elite: Dangerous doesn't mean a wit when you are mad off your rocker.

And for the record, I never said the Type 9 was listed as a preferred mining ship. I meant in general the Type 9 shouldn't even BE a ship because it has a maneuverability of 0. (And I do realize after I posted my comment on your message wall that I was probably unclear in that regard.) It can be argued that maneuverability is more important during docking than during mining. A Type 9, as stated before, has a rating of 0. How can the Type 9, using your logic that maneuverability trumps all, be justified for ANY purpose in Elite with that rating? A Python has a maneuverability raiting of 6. According to your logic, all the ships with 6 or below ratings shouldn't be used for anything.

The Python is very well suited for mining, that's not opinion that's fact. The incredible hubris and arrogance with which you run this wiki (and which you displayed in your reply to DNYI), and that you allow clearly erroneous information (a Sidewinder is a preferred mining craft? Are you insane?) shows that this wiki is clearly no more informationally authoritative than the next random guy I encounter on the street.
