It's a fighter - it's meant to be fast. Without boost this thing is outrun by almost everything. That makes absolutely no sense. I do agree with all you say - I just dislike the glaring *mistakes* they are making with ship development. A slow fighter is not much good against faster prey if they can just run away from it. If your premise that it isn't faster as that would be unbalanced is true (quite likely that it is) it just goes further to my point that they are getting ship development wrong (I only implied the point but you evidently understood )
