There's no certainty about anything in the future. It is probable that the US will become the most populated country in the world in the long run given its geographic size and liveable land. While for example Russia is geographically the biggest country, 60% of its land is covered in permafrost or is too cold or unappealing to live. Its economy is much smaller, the population is smaller and most people live in the East European region.
WW3 should never happen. If it does there would be major casualties in America too. Given the high military budget, capabilities, technical and experience advantages of the USA it's a very probable outcome that it would survive and win. Moreso when including the allies who would be on its side.
