I've really fallen in love with ship. Seriously rugged mining ship. Enough space for a fighter bay, planetary vehicle bay, refinary, collector & prospector limpet controllers and still enough space for a shield and around 600t cargo + 32 economy passengers.
You can run a trading mission to a planets surface, drop off some people for a few extra credits, drive around for a bit on the surface, head back to orbit and plunder an asteroid belt.
The Type-9 really is the definition of a workhorse.
