However, you are on the right path thinking-wise...You would take your base shield MJ and multiply it by 1.04, so:
I am simplifying some here and showing the breakdown...
Simply add the base and the boost and there you are.
And as has already been stated, multiple boosters only are additive based on the base, not the modified strength. So two boosters at 1.04 adds 9.60 twice. Does that make sense?
