It's really not good if you're a parent and/or full-time worker spending 10+ hours on your computer, flight controls in hand, exploring the galaxy, while either your kid is begging for something or you've got to wake up early for work in the morning."
I'm pretty sure that if anyone is going to be staying up too-late and ignoring their responsibilities, it's going to be a teenager or a college student, not a grown-up with kids or a real job. Further, anyone who is going to blow off those things isn't going to be talked out of it by a wiki. They'd probably have more serious problems, like alcoholism or drugs, too.
This part is idiotic and condescending, either way. "That's just the way it is."
