Stupidly high. You're pretty much at 50% shield always because they never recharge efficiently. They require pew peeps to sys and once they're terribly low you gotta dock or reboot your ship so they're at 50% back again. That's how to roll with prismatic, forget about recharge.
Eg: a size 7 w/o eng takes 13 minutes to recover + 32 minutes to recharge all the way to 100% and that's considering it has no reinforced engineering which would make it even longer.
