Be warned - NPC Pilots take share of your INCOME, not share of your PROFIT. Because of that, profitable trade is almost impossible if you have a high-ranked NPC hired. If you bought something for 10000 and want to sell it for 11000, NPC will take, say, 10%. 10% from 11000 = 1100, you finished with 100cr loss instead of planned 900cr (1000cr -10%) profit.
