Yesterday i witness PvP action 2x FDL 1xClipper ( my friend piloted clipper). They engaged 75% hul orca with no sheilds.
And... Orca pilot ( big recpect ) turn on silent mode ( he used heat sinks to extend duration os silent running). He was not visible on radars and gimballed weapons were useles (only clipper was equipped with some fixed weapons - the only solution in that situation). To make long story short - ORCA won that engagement.
Won without using its hardpoints. It used its hidden weapon - hull mass + speed = deadly ramming combo.
And now for developers to read.
Orca 75% hull 0% shields ramming Clipper 100% and shields on. !!!BOOOOM!!!Clipper no shields approx 45% hull left. Orca,,,,,, 70% left WTF!!! only 5% hull taked during collision with Clipper!!? Hello? Is everything OK with game phisycs???
I know Orca is In top 3 heaviest ships in the game ( 1st cutter, 2nd corvette ) and it has exelent cobra boost speed. But only 5% hull loss?.
