Guided missiles are fantastic. I bought a Type-10 too early and could hardly afford guns while keeping rebuy. To the point that the capacitor i could use could barely support 4 large multicannons. So i decided that i might as well do something with the last 5 hardpoints and installed 5 guided missile racks. Every salvo does more than 200 damage and it is beautiful to see the 5 missiles launch condas and cripple them in just a few shots. The graphical effect is beatiful too as for a moment, the whole ship is hidden by the explosions. Extremely satisfying to use and fantastic if you have enough of them. I will probably swap the for multicannons when i can afford them but for the time being, i could not be happier with them.
