Although there is one caveat: now that ships have an armour value, bigger ships now resist weapon damage better. All weapons have an armour piercing value, with lasers and railguns having among the best, so more of their damage will get through to a big ship.
So you could get better defence overall with Mirrored on a Corvette than with Reactive Composite. But, both it and Reactive are both stupidly expensive, both in terms of buying the module and insurance, so it may be better just to stick with Military Composite.
