Correction. Its armour piercing is 18, same as a class 1 fixed beam laser. This is why the stats on this page badly need updated by someone who has a mining lance (I don't). The game doesn't use letters to rank AP any more, and a lot of other things have changed too.
According to a 10 May 2016 video (sorry, the most recent source I could find!) stats of the mining lance are/were:
Mass: 2.0T, Integ: 40, Pow draw: 0.7MW, Boot: 0S, DPS: 8.0/s, Dist Draw: 1.75MW, Therm Load: 6.0/s, AP: 18, Max Range: 2000m, Breach Dam: 1.2
For comparison, a 1E fixed beam laser:
Mass 2.0T, Integ: 40, Pow draw: 0.62MW, Boot: 0S, DPS: 9.8/s, Dist Draw: 1.94MW, Therm Load: 3.5/s, AP: 18, Max Range: 3000m, Breach Dam: 7.9
And the 1D fixed mining laser:
Mass: 2.0T, Integ: 40, Pow draw: 0.5MW, Boot: 0S, DPS: 2.0/s, Dist Draw: 1.5MW, Therm Load: 2.0/s, AP: 18, Max Range: 500m, Breach Dam: 0.30
