hello all, i fly an anaconda and i find the 2 light weapon hardpoints to be perfectly mounted in the bottom rear of the ship for mines. ive been experimenting with them in CZ's trying to figure out how effective they are and how they function.
here is what i've found out; they do have homing abilities. if you run into them after deployment they will blow up. you have to target the enemy and be agressed to them. thier rang for activation is around 3-4k and they do prety decent dmg. about the same as missiles atm. only problem is they dont seem the be locking and homing in on every target. ive seen them go after targets for a long distance an othertimes do absolutly nothing. still working that out. maybe its a bug... any how any more information wold be usefull. doesnt seem to be much info on mines.
