According to some people that have done this sort of testing, the CLASS doesn't really change anything besides the # of active limpets. I feel like this is more of a convenience factor, but I usually stick with class 1 (prospecting one asteroid at a time is fine for me).
THE BIG THING IS THAT THE RATING INCREASES YOUR YEILDS.
So using any prospector to begin with increases your yield from the rock. I was using a 1E prospector and was getting 18-20 fragments per rock, but my brother has been using an A rated prospector and has been getting upwards of *40* fragments per rock.
