The best I could suggest would be to pack some seeker missiles. Kill the SLF with those first (2 missiles will bring down anything except a Taipan, and obviously 3 will kill the Taipan) then dogfight the Krait. At least then you've got a solid 50/50 chance.
That said, another school of thought says ignore the SLF and focus entirely on the Krait. If the SLF is being flown by a NPC Crew, killing the Krait will instantly destroy the SLF. I have no idea how that works with either an NPC Krait or 2 human players, though.
That said, this is one of the Krait's biggest strengths (which I pointed out in one of the other posts here) - by including the SLF, you force your opponent to either split their fire or focus on one target at the expense of the other. This is why the Krait is largely better than the Python in a 1v1 scenario. It's one of those "invisible on paper" things that everyone arguing for the Python seems to completely ignore, and I'm not sure why.
That said, also keep in mind that running a SLF with beam lasers means you can run all Multi-cannons and missiles on the Krait and let the SLF do most of the work busting enemy shields. i.e. you'll always be shooting them with the best availavle damage type.
Or you can just shoot them with both at once ;)
