My guess is that it will be a large sized gun-boat with no small and huge hardpoints.
Why?
-) None of the currently available imperial ships larger than a fighter have small hardpoints (not even the Courier)
-) It is the only role that has not been filled yet. We have a multipurpose (Anaconda), the heavy "artillery" (fed. corvette), the only open spot is the heavy "gunship" designed to deal with smaller opponents.
Also, it will probably be quite fast, but have difficulty with lateral movement (imperial ships seem to always have that problem)
