Completely agree with you, and to clarify: my point about the off-topic reply was directed at wall-of-text guy, and not at you :)
OP's question was max range, which is Conda obviously. For the reasons I stated the AspX will benefit more than the DBX. BUT the point about other ships benfitting does stand, e.g. Cutter and Python would get 50+LY in explorer trim.
And ships like the Corvette and Type 10 will still enjoy the benefit, even if its just temporarily fitted while travelling long distance. Ship Tranfer of a 1B+Cr ship hurts!
