You must be really seriously ADHD or something. I know I'm at least moderately ADHD myself, maybe worse, and I've run out of fuel exactly once. Also, you can fuel scoop from most stars. Carry a fuel scoop; if you're running low, find a star in your map of class O, B, A, F, G, K or M, and fly close to it--carefully--until you hear a loud thump and your computer tells you your fuel scoop is engaged. Fly a little closer until you're scooping at a decent rate but not so close that you build up heat past 65% (once it goes past 65% it keeps going until you overheat) and just sit there until you're full. Note, if you buy a class E1 fuel scoop and try to fuel an Asp or Anaconda, you'll be sitting there for hours.
