So you consider side by side aircraft in real life heavily flawed then? I own and fly a real Cessna 150. Guess what? The pilot seat not centered. You get used to it. As a pilot you don't even notice it after a while. You get used to being on the left side. However flying from the right seat feels odd to me, just downright wrong. I flown off center and center seat in both real life and games a real pilot learns to compensate.
