Idk what the person about was saying about 10k shield will have horrid resistances. I have just under 10k (9.6k mj's with no guardian shield boosters) and I have what I would consider good resistances across the board. Something like 59% explosive, 51% kinetic, and 30% thermal... The cutter is an unbelievably tanky ship with full shield tank builds (including scb's) reaching in excess of 20k mj's of effective shields. Matched with it's ability to control the range of the fight and thus get outside of the 6k range to use scb's it has a distinct advantage. That being said it does have a disadvantage (if only slightly) in the dps department and the smaller dist is cumbersome at times.
