well, if you let a small torpedoboat get closer to a battleship in RL and it scores two torpedo hits the battleship sure is going to have a problem... that's why they have escorts and all sizes of weapons, to try catch anyone trying to get close...
or do you really expect a gigantic ship to be as maneuverable as a tugboat?
I wonder if RL ship captains were so whiny... they would probably whine among the lines of "OMG, THESE SOMALI PIRATES RAIDED MY CONTAINER SHIP USING A DINGHY AND A AK-47, PLEASE NERF THEM OR BUFF MY CONTAINER SHIP!!!!!"
thankfully the real world isn't as whiny as the internet (yet)
