I'm not sure that they will come out with "planetary" destructive lasers, unless we can start building/buying deathstars, but I would like to see more powerful lasers capable of taking down outposts/docks when that becomes a thing (which I was told it will). It would make powerplay seem a lot more involved, since it might include the actual fighting and kicking out of the opposing power, or being able to undermine by literally blowing up the enemy controlled outpost, at the cost of having to rebuild it for your own faction of course. I can see the outpost without replacing thing going too far and newbs just destroying the economy for the sake of a pretty explosion
