It's more comparable to the Vulture than the FDL. The main difference being that it tanks damage mostly on its hull as opposed to shields like the Vulture. It's just as agile as a Vulture with the added bonus of being much much faster and with no power management issues. The main difference is you need to not give a flying **** about your shields. Just stick a C5 biweave shield on there and stuff the hull with as much armor as possible. The A5 shield generator costs about 4 million more credits (C5 biweave is 895 thousand vs A5 being a little over 5 million) while giving only about 100 more MJ of shielding. The FDL flies more like a Viper. Just with an absurdly amount of firepower. I fly both and I find them both to be excellent ships.
