The sad thing Frontier IS run by moneywhores. They charged for a game before it was finished. Almost a year later, the game is still not finished, and yet they announce DLC and start charing good money for it. Then they released the season pass for 120 pounds to try to grab as much money as possible, which was extremely suspicious, and the BASE GAME had still not been made.
Even now, 1.5 years after release, Elite Dangerous still lacks half of the features we were promised, and instead of deliverng those, Frontier is updating Horizons, and may even force peope who don't own Horizons to buy Horizons in order to get access to the features which were promised in the base game without DLC.
