People need to understand that Horizons isn't a $60 DLC, it's a year of updates focussed on planetary and intra-ship dynamics. It's an expansion; many other games, i.e. MMOs will force you to pay a monthly subscription - then large sums of money for expansions. This system of yearly 'season' expansions allows the developers to continue funding a large and varied team. If you don't want to support them and help them continue to provide large and extremely polished updates to an already revolutionary game, go pay $2000 for a PC that can run Star Citizen. Then another $60+ for the game. Then another $60 - $2500 for a ship.
Frontier isn't run by moneywhores.
