Well, no, not really. You do all that and you simply bump against the surface of the landing pad repeatedly in a futile attempt to get the station to recognise the landing, until the timer runs out, then the psychopaths running the space station destroy your ship. Haven't these guys heard of parking tickets?!
This experience was incredibly annoying, not entertaining, (which, let us not forget, is the ONLY purpose of a game)
Frankly I wish I hadn't paid £40 for that experience, and I am so frustrated by it that may not bother go back to it.
This is from somoene who way back in 1984 persevered to get all the way to elite status on my trusty BBC micro.
