Better double that budget since a 5A FSD is 5M cr alone. This my daily driver, in armed exploration fit ($17M, 58ly jump). I suggest you buy a Vulture instead and assisinate your way up to a better ship, a lot of the modules from your DBS will fit. Or put some business class cabins in your cobra and do VIP tours (~1M each).
An ASP-X sounds like it would suit your play style, the above build is valid for an ASP-X. In cargo trim it could carry 120T. You'll need about 12M
