In this video, I want to show you one of the many absolutely beautiful and unique locations in *Elite Dangerous*. The star system known as HIP 87621 which is at a distance of roughly 411.3 light-years from the Sol System. It is a previously permit-locked star system that opened to commanders on November 13, 3311 (2025), revealing unique exobiology such as the glowing Radicoida Unica flora and the mystery of the missing researcher Terry Torah. But what makes it truly special to me is a fascinating atmospheric phenomenon that regularly occurs on planet 2A during the eclipse of a nearby gas giant. The atmosphere shifts to a stunning blue hue, enveloping the entire planet and creating the impression of a dense atmosphere which still is a rarity so far.
