File:Retro Playback - ELITE (1984)

ELITE - Released in 1984, Elite is considered one of the most important video games ever made. It crashed through boundaries in 3D graphics, procedural generation, and the overall player experience. Now, 40 years later, its legacy lives on in ELITE DANGEROUS, the most recent version of the game that continues to boast a vibrant player base. The original Elite continues to stoke feelings of nostalgia from players from all walks of life.

In this very special RETRO PLAYBACK, I take on the 1991 port of Elite made for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and make a few surprise discoveries of my own!
