File:Frontier First Encounters - MIDI (Roland SC-55) Game Soundtrack - MS-DOS, 1995

MIDI Soundtrack from video game "Frontier First Encounters" recorded from a genuine Roland SC-55 mkII device.

Music written by 'The Quality Quartet' (Jasper Swart, Daniel Baars, Ivo Witteveen, Finn Kruyning)

Note : The game has 8 more tracks : the musics from "Frontier Elite II" written/arranged by Dave Lowe, but these ones are heavily bugged in First Encouters and sounds awful. They were written for Roland LA devices such as MT-32/CM-32L/LAPC-I/CM-64/CM-500 and were not properly transposed to General Midi before their conversion to the game proprietary format. So they are played with wrong instruments and GM channel 1 is silent. 00:00 SC-55 MKII 00:10 First Encounter Theme 02:02 Atmosphere 05:40 Travel 08:02 Drama 11:10 Suspense 13:51 Rock 16:11 Escape 19:16 Paradise 21:41 Alien Encounters
