Category talk:Star systems
Regarding Star-classes, re Stars and the table.
It would be nice to be able from 'system pages' and the template, to reffer and link to the Star-class.
Eg: (B) Blue-White
However, since I'm new to the Wikia and how to modify things, I don't want to create a mess on day one.
Would it be possible to:
- a) Add some tags so we can link to each star class?
- b) or perhaps create a separate page per class?
Aditionally, have a look at the MediaWiki:Systempagelayout so we can link up each system-stars to the star-class chart.

- Right now, I'm not sure that would help much. The exact class rarely matters anyway, just whether it's main sequence or not. Maybe a warning for problematic binaries might be nice (warping into the coronae of two hot stars is an interesting experience), but that is something more useful on the systems page.

- What am I trying to achieve with the request?
- As you were saying "The exact class rarely matters anyway" - true. But as an explorer myself, and someone who wish to quickly have a glance at a page to see what the system contains (when I'm out of game that is, or if I havent visited the system). Or dive into the details without having to scroll through the whole "Stars table".
- You gain both advantages.
- Much similar to stations, e.g.: Abcde Orbital (Ocellus).
- You'll quickly identiy the type, and have the reference right there to dig into the details if you need.
- E.g.: Maia A (B White Blue)
- I don't wish to break conventions, but perhaps we could do this?
- Note: Sorry if I'm not using the talk page correctly, feel free to correct how I'm using it.

- You have a point. I've added extra tags to the stars table, so Stars#Class M will link to Class M in the chart, for example. I've used the sort order tags for the ID in each case, so Orange Giants are K2, etc.
