Corrections/additions: 

1) Hull Mass - 320T to 580T = 260T difference, lighter than FGS

2) Hull Hardness - 55 to 60 = 5 rating worse than FGS

3) Armour Rating - 396 to 630 = 234 rating worse than FGS, maximum achievable value (engineered) is approx. 6017 vs 6552 so 535 worse off but 0.1% better resistances across the board

4) Shield MJ with a C6 Bi-Weave - 284 vs 211 = 73mj higher than FGS

5) While the FGS might be 'worse' than a lot of similarly priced/more expensive ships, it's 'better' than some, especially at combat. We could draw similar pros/cons comparisons between the Crusader (although no rank lock), the Clipper, the Asp Scout, etc and a host of competitive ships relative to those.
