Usage

Review

Identify the actual work, source, creator and applicable permission or licence. Explain the specific concern on the affected page's talk page. A non-free tag, a source wiki's numbered criteria or the site footer does not itself grant permission. Preserve exact licence terms and contributor credits. Do not describe imported external criteria as locally adopted rules.

Resolving the concern

Correct inaccurate descriptions or credits when evidence supports it. Consider an appropriately licensed replacement. Removal or a disputed rights issue follows Project:Files for discussion or Project:Deletion policy, as appropriate. Record the reason and preserve useful discussion records.
