Help:Reverting
Appearance
A revert restores earlier content or undoes a particular change. First open the page history and inspect the relevant comparison. Where Undo is available, review its proposed result before saving; later unrelated improvements should be retained. If restoring an older revision manually, check what changed in between and explain the restoration in the edit summary.
Do not repeatedly revert a good-faith disagreement. Use the article talk page and Project:Dispute. For deliberate damage, see Project:Vandalism. If content has been hidden or deleted, ask a local administrator rather than republishing it without review.
