This template should be used to tag pages that exceed the post-expand include size limit for templates. Such articles should be reduced to a size below this limit as soon as possible, as this will cause templates at the bottom of the page (typically references) to appear only as a link to a template. Usage

|1=or|section=should be the section of the talk page where discussion is taking place|2=replaces "talk page"|date=should be set to the month and year the template was applied

When using this template, consider replacing {{reflist}} in the article with <references />, which can often allow at least some of the references to appear.
