From Elite Dangerous Wiki

However, this is a wiki. I do not believe that populating the wiki with information about specific commanders, especially those who combat log, grief or similar, should exist on the wiki. A wiki of a game is supposed to focused on what the game has to offer, the mechanics of said game, how the mechanics work, the story of the game and more things surrounding the game.

Articles listing people should never ever occur, as that is not related to the game in any way. The purpose of those articles will not improve the game, help people find out about the game nor help Frontier in taking action against them.

When it comes to comments of articles, there is no reason to name and shame a commander on the wiki. There will be no justice when doing so. The person they're shaming could be harassed by people who see his name on a comment naming and shaming him. If they want justice for e.g. a combat logger, they should just report them in-game and go on their merry way.

I'd rather not have comments naming and shaming possible combat loggers or griefers by word of mouth. Even with video it could be a mistake. They cause witch hunts, harassments and in the absolute worst scenario, doxxing.

Over on the reddit, we've seen the things I just mentioned. Doxxing has occured more than once. One time it was on the main sub, other time was on a separate subreddit dedicated to naming combat loggers, which got shutdown by reddit and the person got banned.

People shouldn't block others they haven't met by what someone on the wiki has said. Wiki is not supposed to have biased material, which this definitely would be, but it should have multiple view points on controversal topics or be avoided completely if there is no way not to be biased. For instance: SDC people will be biased towards naming combat loggers. Combat loggers will be biased towards naming SDC. Neither is more right than the other.
