Holo-Screen Advert

Holo-screen Adverts are advertisements for organisations and products that are displayed by holographic projectors and drones placed inside and around Stations, Surface Ports, and Concourses. The displayed images consist of combinations of red, blue, and green dots, which become visible when they are observed up-close.[1]
Advertised subjects are corporations, some selected ships, rare commodities, tourist destinations, player initiatives (such as the Fuel Rats and Buckyball Racing Club), present superpowers and powers, or small reminders to pilots.
Holo-Screens can be "hacked" using a Recon Limpet Controller to contribute towards Powerplay control and provide Merits as a reward. Hacking a Holo-Screen will typically incur a 1000 credit fine with the station owner's faction.
Notes
- The Elite Dangerous: Beyond Chapter Three update added 25 Holo-Screen Adverts from the "Design A Holo-Screen Advert" contest that were created by players.[2][3]
- In damaged and repairing stations, all adverts are replaced with emergency alerts.
