You mean tips for making good money exploring or having fun along the way?

Making money involves blasting your D-scanner in every system you come across, and scanning the most profitable bodies, such as neutron stars, black holes, earthlike and terraformable planets and maybe some gas giants along the way.

For habitable planets you're looking at F, G, K and M-type stars (mostly).

For having fun and seeing cool sights... I guess due to the RNG nature of the universe you can get them almost anywhere, but here are some tips:

- Check planets' distances from the star. The smaller it is (we're talking tens of lightseconds or less) the higher chance of it being a fresh planet, with crates and mountains and ravines. Plus, the bigger the star the better the view. Junga system is a perfect example of that.

- Check gas giants' moons. If two gas giants orbit each other, there some nice views to be had on the surfaces of those.

- Check rings. Dense ice ones are my favourite, especially when the lighting is right.

And the most important tip - don't run out of fuel. When I'm speeding through systems to get somewhere, I plot the route and just go with it untill I have about 1/4 of the tank left. Then I check if the next star is scoopable, and if not - reroute to the nearest one (don't worry, there are usually plenty of them). Oh and when there is no safe zone marker I tend to look at my fuel scoop and when it maxes out it's time to flatten the trajectory or you'll fly into the star.
