Template:Contributions link

contributions

Template documentation follows
Note: the template above may sometimes be partially or fully invisible.
Visit "Template:Contributions link/doc" to edit its documentation if it is available. (How does this work?)
For the userbox, see Template:User contributions.

This template creates a link to a user's contributions.

Note: This template has nothing to do with retrieving edit counts. If you enter {{USERCONTRIBS}} it will redirect to this template. There is no automated magic word or other function to automatically retrieve a user's edit count (such as mw:API:Usercontribs or mw:Extension:Editcount) activated on Wikipedia. All templates where an editor displays their number of edits (such as the plethora of service awards) must be updated manually.

Usage

{{Contributions link|userID or IP|text to use instead of "contributions"}}
