I just got access to these and had a few fights with them. Like the original frag cannon, it's hard to actually land a good solid hit with one, made even more tricky by the fact it's fixed. But it does masses of hull damage with a burst. We're talking about maybe what it would take a large multicannon do to over five seconds.
Weird thing is though, if I wire my lasers and multicannons up to my first firebutton and the pacifier to my second, I can't fire the pacifier while firing lasers and multicannons. Doesn't seem to be a heat or capacitor issue, and I know it's not my control pad.
