I wouldn't count on it. Best to use a point defence. I have one installed for that one purpose, after getting my 6k shield one hitted by those shiite, overpowered Torpedoes, by a PvP'er. Shame there's ain't any good spots on a Cutter for PD, but it's the only real defence. Unless you want to out run them, or can shot them down yourself. It would be nice, if frontier nerfed them, they are way, WAY, too overpowered.
