Yup. That is true. I really do not know what FANDOM users are saying about Japanese speakers, or missiles (as thrown objects) in general but in military terms, a rocket is unguided, while missiles are not.
If some nitpick that a thrown baseball is a "missile", that does not change any established terms for military weapons, past or present.
That is common knowledge. But it seems not to many.
