One could argue that the cutter is the supirior combat ship when compaired to the fed corvet. all of its hard points are class 2 and above. something that neither the federal corvett or the anaconda can claim. That being said. it has stronger shield than the corvett and if you account for the fact the the Imperial Hammer (a class 2 and above weapon) deals 15dps where as a huge PAC only deals 10 the difference in damage output it clear. especially considering the IH doesnt require the pilot to get lucky in order to hit.
That being said the Federal Corvett, and the anaconda have a maximum possible damage output far less than that of the Cutter simpley because they has small hardpoints where as the cutter does not . they have weaker shileds and less armor. What it comes down to is that the cutter simply out shield, out armors, and out guns the Federal Corvett and anaconda.
As for manuverability issues if youre flying a ginat ship like this and expect it to preform like a fighter you're an idiot. You dont see any armed service navy or airforce use their ultra heavy battle ships or bombers like fighter. You need to develop different tactics to fight with. In the case of the cutter you should fight like an anacond flying backwards so you can bring the massive ammount of firepower it has to bare on the enemy.
