I thought that too, but the repair costs are just heinous. If you have 50% damage to a type-7 then you pay like 20k, but if you take 50% damage in the Clipper, you're charged a whopping 500k, which will eliminate 130% of your income for the previous run and the next. For that reason, I had to put on shields which, with the worst equipped, leaves you with 240 cargo as opposed to the Lakon Type-7's 232. Flying the damn thing without shields is idiotic seeing as how it's easily double the repair cost of the Lakon and much more flimsy. Also, upgrading this ship is even more expensive, not to even mention the grind through Imperial ranks. IF and Only IF you happen to have about 30 mil credits and you're in need of a freighter and you also have the rank of Baron, then I would consider this ship, but as it stands it's 100000 times not worth it. Now if it was an intermediate between the Lakon type 7 and the Type 9, or if it could land on medium pads, then you'd have something, but as it stands, it's almost counter intuitive.
