Allow me to give you my own outfit for FDL. Reach Deadly yesterday at night with.
Tips (my own advices, but i'm not quite the type of an expert...) :
-Replace fuel tank by a second cell bank (Activate only when the first is out of ammo).
-Two turrets on medium hardpoint can help chasing small fighter (useful when farming powerplay and smal vessels).
-Use fix cannon for huge impact and more convenient use of the weapon. The huge plasma is far too gluttonous in energy for me. And don't forget to desactivate the cargo Hatch, saving energy.

The "+" : A very strong shield, a constant deal of damages (largely enough to deal with small vessels, and the Cannon help for others.), an outfit made for conflict zones and powerplay.
The "-": Voracious in energy, do not have the Plasma A4, lack jump range, not outfit for bounty hunting.
Hope i can help you. But, once again, i'm not an expert and i'm not sure of the pertinence of this outfit. It's just the one i love to play with. You may prefer Imperial Hammer, Rail Gun or Missiles Racks, but i'm afraid of not being useful here.
